The Open Door Playhouse, is an inclusive, flexible drop-in playgroup space designed for children and teens of all abilities. This is not a school, therapy center, or education facility—just a warm, welcoming space where kids can be themselves, build friendships, and enjoy playful connection in a safe environment.
Services
Play and social interaction with assistance based on need
- Every child at The Open Door Playhouse is supported by caring, trained staff who provide age- and needs-appropriate supervision throughout their visit.
👶 Ages Served: 3 to Young Adult
🧠 Designed for:
Children with autism, motor deficits, developmental delays, neurodivergence, sensory processing disorders and their typical peers!
⏰ Flexible Playgroup Hours
1–6 hour drop-in sessions, before/after school hangouts, and “school’s out” playdays
🎮 Teen Hangout Space:
An inclusive social zone with games, crafts, music, and relaxed creative time for middle and high school youth with disabilities and typical peers.
